In many ways, young Ferretpaw is very similar to her brother. In any case, it would be very hard to find siblings who were any closer than they are. You will never find one without the other close behind, in their spare time - a matched pair, these too.
She has an unsatiable curiosity, even moreso than her brother - and tends to do anything she can in order to 'ferret' out a secret, or a mystery within her own clan. A gossipy young she cat - you do now want Ferretpaw to find out anything about you; because she'll immediately blab it out all over the camp. She can't help it; give her the tinest bit of information, and she'll be passing it out in the clan within moments.
But her thirst for knowledge is also useful. She takes in information and stores it in her memory - so she hardly ever forgets anything important. She learns by watching, mostly - and has a somewhat photographic memory. She can remember cats' faces, and usually put names to them very easily.
Like her brother, though Ferretpaw is a little too excitable, and prone to causing trouble. She is the definate brains in their opperation, however - and the sneakier, more 'Windclanny' of the pair.
Appearance:
Ferretpaw has a very similar fur structure to her brother. Her fur is fluffy and soft, sometimes sticking up in odd tufts - particularly the silky hairs in front of her ears. Her coat, however, is not a brown, like his is. Instead, a gray pelt is hers - like stormy cloud cover, that makes her grey-yellow eyes pop from her face.
Her features are slightly more pointy - with a more prominate muzzle, and tufted ears. Her body, is also, smaller than her brothers - smaller, neater paws, and a scrawny, longer body. She has a faint stripe down her back, of lighter grey fur - some say she looks identical to her late father, Kitewing.
History:
Ferretpaw was, in truth, the only surviving kit of Gorsefur and Kitewing. Her father had died of infection shortly before she was born, but everyone has told her she looks identical tom him.
She does not remember this, being too young, but one day, when her mother took her outside to play, they were met by a loner named Kay, who gave Gorsefur Ferretpaw's brother, Martinpaw. As far as this kit knows, she has no idea that Martinpaw is not her brother - but her mother has been terrified that she'll eventually find out, and dislike her adopted sibling.
Until she was able to be apprentice, Ferretpaw and Martinpaw played with each other and the other kits in the nursery. She never guess that her sibling was a week or so younger than she was. It was only a moon or so ago that both Ferretpaw and Martinpaw were apprenticed.
