Name: Smallfoot
Gender: she-cat
Age: forty-three moons
Position: warrior
Clan: WindClan
Personality:
To begin with, Smallfoot isn't mean; she's just not very nice. By the look, if you were to never become well aqquainted with her, and just see her rather than hear her, one might think was she a rather kind and reasonable cat. She's anything but. The she-cat actually is quite cold to others, never really caring about their problems, which doesn't leave her making many friends. She's rather harsh too, making mocking comments at others as long as her leader's not within hearing distance.
It's almost as she can't (or doesn't want to) grasp the basic unmentioned part of the Warrior Code that says 'respect others'. The little cat's actually a perfectionist of some sort, and hates not mastering anything completely, in which she will viciously practice at until she gets it right nearly every time. Perhaps the correct word for that is stubborn. She simply hates giving up. She positively hates the other Clans. Okay, maybe she doesn't hate them. She more of loathes them greatly.
To her, each Clan should mostly mind their own business. Her tolerance for other Clans has decreased greatly over the moons she's been alive. Smallfoot's easily irritated and never really shows her feelings toward others. Before you want her to act on something, if you're not a cat in a high position it'd be rather wise to gather proof; otherwise she might claw a pawful of your fur off and go back to sleep in her nest.
She enjoys irritating others, also. Her specialty is twisting their words around to create loop-holes in their rules, generally annoying other cats very much. She's a rather impatient cat, willing to work to get to something, but not wanting for that work to last too long. She could care less what difficulty level it rests on, as long as it gets her to where she's heading. Smallfoot is usually confident in the things she does, but once in a blue-moon she will doubt herself only if you give her enough reason to.
Really, other than that she's mostly confident almost to the point of being arrogant. Because of the dislike she has in her heart for almost every other cat, Smallfoot definitely holds grudges. She seems to have an excellent memory when it comes to remember favors she's done for others, however... (Can you say blackmail?) And while we're at it, let's face it -- she can most defintely be pegged as disrespectful at times, especially sometimes to cats of higher authority like leaders and deputies, but strangely enough, she's more than willing to help the elders and respects them perhaps more than her own leader.
Smallfoot may also be perhaps one of the oddest cats you are ever to meet. Perhaps you might be able to call her brave. She certainly doesn't back down from a challenge, and will go along with her Clan to battle on the frontline any time she is needed to. She manages to usually keep a calm face throughout all of this, except for during the not-so-rare times when her irritation breaks through and she ends up hissing and yowling at the cat she's fighting and trying to kill them. Smallfoot does not play well with others.
The she-cat is also almost fearless, despite the trouble it could get her into. You might as well be telling an angry badger not to kill you if you think you're keeping the fluffy little cat from where she wants to go to at the moment. Smallfoot tries to keep herself as mature as possible, but it's pretty hard when you're insulting the cat sitting a few tail-lengths away from you with a bored look on your face.
Appearance:
Staring off, Smallfoot is a white cat. She's not really a pure white cat however, such as the snow when it starts to first fall in leaf-bare. Her fur carries a slightly more grayish tint, as if permanently tainted with the color. If she were to clean the dust out of her fur more carefully, perhaps it could reach a lighter color. The fur is long-haired, of course making the small cat seem almost fluffy.
This makes it even harder to clean, but she doesn't seem to care much; it makes her seem bigger, after all, so it's definitely worth the time. Because she doesn't have too much cover in her Clan's territory, it protects her quite well from the chilly winds because of its thickness. When the snow starts to fall, because the fur keeps her warm and she can blend in, she's perfectly fine with sitting in the snow and waiting for a piece of prey to wander by her hiding spot. The texture of her fur isn't too soft, and you shouldn't have expected it to be-- she's not a kittypet! The pelt has had to withstand rain and winds, so it's become quite rough to the touch.
There also may be one or two fleas and few burrs tangled deep in there somewhere. Because of these points, it's debatable or not if one is to call Smallfoot attractive. The fur is quite tangled but on the occasion that she grooms it, it's quite fluffy and when it sticks out she can be called almost cute. But generally because her attitude, no one really seems to look at such a thing, and Smallfoot is generally labeled as unappealing. The lighting does seem to change her fur a bit, however.
If it's a rather dim day, she'll seem almost a light grey sort of color, but if it's sunny and the sun decides to shine upon her, her fur turns rather bright. It's particularly hard for her to sneak around at night however, no matter what. Because of her fur being a light color, she naturally draws attention even on the darkest night. If the moon decides to show, while spying the light that might reflect off her fur is potentially revealing and therefore dangerous. Another disadvantage also is because her long fur, she might have chance to get caught in some of the thorny bushes or brambles in her territory while pursuing her prey, or dragged down easily by water.
Her eyes are a dark amber color. It's perhaps the same shade of dried honey. They're rather round and large, still giving off an almost innocent look. The cat is anything but, but because of these young eyes she could fool quite a lot of people into thinking she's much younger than she actually is. Smallfoot's eyes don't seem to be as expressive as the average cat. Surely emotions can be read, but rather often they're quite repetitive or dull, the different ones hidden in deeply.
The she-cat is more than likely to betray when she's furious at a cat rather than sad, believing that showing another cat such emotions is a weakness, and if you do it should be strictly limited to kin only and no other cat. Every one in a while she may let out a hurt emotion of some sort, but usually her expression hovers in between bored and apathetic. These eyes rest upon a rather wide and flat face, usually given to cats with long fur such as her. Her face still has a rather noticeable point to it though, so it doesn't look like she just decided to speed directly toward a tree one day. Her nose is small, pink and triangular shaped, but you'd better believe her sense of smell is quite good.
Because of the fact of the air being much cleaner without all the trees that ThunderClan has to block things, she can easily scent out prey, which is a good thing because her hearing has never been good, and has probably gotten that way from her never listening to her mentor. Smallfoot's ears are quite small of course, and instead of being pointy they form a circular triangle at the top. Because she's never one to back down, they usually keep straight up, only flattening from extreme terror or when she's really getting into one of the daily threats she seems to make. As mentioned earlier, her hearing isn't the best in the forest, and she relies mostly on other cats in her Clan to alert her of approaching things.
Like every good warriors or wild cat in general, Smallfoot carries scars from her pasts experiences, especially as a warrior. Some cats would think of them as imperfections, or some might think of them as prizes to show their participation in battle, attempting to show them off; she honestly doesn't care for them at all. Smallfoot carries many scars, physical as well as mental, but lets only focus on that first type for now. There's a rather small and shallow scar hidden somewhere inside of the long hair of her tail because of an incident when she was younger. While the she-cat was fighting in one of her first border disputes, some other apprentice thought it'd be a good idea to latch on to her tail despite being larger than her, while those moves were generally reserved for cats smaller than them.
Smallfoot didn't take it to well, so the apprentice immediately had whipped herself around, pulling out a few clumps of fur and jerking the other cat's teeth straight out of her tail, and proceeding to claw him. Despite the other smaller battle scars, she has a particularly noticeable one across her belly, so large that the fur has never completely grown back over it. Once when she was a new warrior, she and her brother had an encounter with a fox. The large fox was very much not pleased, and had ended up slicing through her belly with a large unsheathed paw when she was thrown on to her back by the vicious animal. Luckily, her brother had managed to fight it off from the wounds it already had obtained, and carried her back to camp. She still hasn't gotten over the fact he says the reason she probably lived was because he didn't have to drag her and open her wound further, just carry her. Smallfoot didn't take the comment on her size too well tried to attack him.
Finally, we come to the reason to her name. Smallfoot was never really a large kit when she was born, and has never become as big as she would have liked to be. She's a rather light cat to begin with, because of her size. She is rather easily lifted because of this, simply as if she's just a rather large apprentice, and this is a very big disadvantage in a fight. If one were to hit her too hard, especially upon the head, it could cause rather serious damage, the size difference actually leaving her a bit fragile. Smallfoot is also an overall slim cat, because she doesn't take too much from the fresh-kill pile quite too often; this also might just be helping that cat knock her a bit further than most would be: she's not as heavy as she's supposed to be.
If one were to shave off all of that fur, her ribs are quite visible against her sides, making her look very unhealthy as she would be compared to kittypets. However, her size does bring her a few good things. Despite that it's not her favorite thing to do (that would be fighting) her small paws allow her to step rather quietly when she is needed to, therefore sneaking after prey is no big deal. It's not quite often she does this however. Despite having an almost tiny build in all, the she-cat's build is quite muscular in some places, especially in her legs.
She's got the muscles of a WindClan cat, which means she can run very quickly and for very long distances. This comes from moons of chasing rabbits all over her Clan's territory, the certain piece of prey still managing her favorite food despite the abundance of them upon the land. This might give her some sort of advantage in a fight, because of her speed it usually allows her to recovers from attacks quickly, as long as it wasn't a very serious one.
Her tail is one of the most noticeable parts of the cat that has been noted. It's actually pretty large, compared to her, and might as well be the same length as her own body. It's not a solid color, the having the same grayish tint as the rest of her body. It's perhaps the fluffiest part of her body; however it sometimes can be the most dirty. When Smallfoot's not a Gathering or hunting for food, she usually doesn't hold her tail very high, dragging it around camp throughout the dirt, getting burrs and thorns stuck in it.
Usually she feels compelled to leave it like this as the kits of her Clan, despite the warrior's growls usually find it quite amusing to jump on her tail and the run away quickly. After the last kit pricked itself on a thorn, it's stopped, and she sees no reason for it to continue. Her feet are small of course, and the pads are a light pink color. As the soft the coloring explains, her pads are actually quite soft. She's used to walking on a soft moor, not stones or brambles or anything.
While she wouldn't get tired, traveling a long distance on these paws and getting them injured could be rather fatal to the she-cat. Lastly, there's her voice: Smallfoot has a voice most wouldn't expect. She has the voice of a mature she-cat, but because of her size most expect her to carry the high pitched voice of a kit straight from the nursery. She's frequently irritated when others get a startled look in their eyes after she's spoken to the for the first time, and she usually has to restrain herself from attacking them. Usually when she speaks her voice is as hard and firm as stone, and she feels no need to betray any emotion she's feeling, and goes at great lengths to hide it, especially if she's feeling jealous, but not so as much the emotion of fury; that she'll definitely let you know. To Smallfoot, sarcasm is a language, and she is quite fluent in it.
History: Smallfoot as ended up having an almost normal life. She was born to her mother and father in WindClan, along with her brother Grayfur. As a kit, she of course got into trouble, but seemingly more than average kit, especially with a brother to encourge her. When she became an apprentice she worked along side her brother and some other apprentices hard to become a warrior. When she was a new warrior, she had an encountered with a fox that ended her up with a few scars. Her brother, decided Clanlife was not for him shortly afterwards, left the Clan after saying good-bye to his sister.
