Icewhisper slowly padded up to the edge of the lake. Every cat in Riverclan knew that if you got to close the sandy shore could give way and you would plummet right into the water. No matter what her knowledge was the dark gray she-cat still dared the slippery banks. She finally settled down, her tail neatly wrapped around her paws and her head craned down toward the water. You could see the fish swimming about, and a reflection of yourself always appeared on the surface.
The ocean blue eyes of the she-cat glared at the image of herself, a small smile crept on her face in satisfaction of what she was seeing. Icewhisper swished her paw around in the cool water watching the fish scatter. She felt like a kit again playing in the small pond at the farm where she used to live. The she-cat washed those memories away quickly as she remembered this was her home now and she really loved clan life more than anything.
