Personality: A laid back fellow, Duskstar tries to avoid drama within his clan, and he is a major peacekeeper within SkyClan. He always talks in a calm tone, and acts unfazed by just about everything around him, although this is mainly used to not show any weakness within his clan. If he were to seem anxious or worried, his clan would pick up on it, and this is the last thing Duskstar wants.
Despite his laid back personality, Duskstar has a humorous side as well. This comes naturally to him, however, and it doesn't require any effort. This side of him is one of his better sides, and can be used to cheer up cat's that are in a bad mood. After spending time with Duskstar, they'd be laughing their head off, as he has quite a few tricks up his... uh paw?
Although Duskstar is normally a good natured tom, he can become easily irritated, which can make his mood change drastically. He can have a nasty temper when he's irritated, so if he seems oddly annoyed, you'd best back off. This is rare, however, so don't worry about constant outbreaks. He merely want's whats best for his clan.
Appearance:
One word to sum up Duskstar, would be "handsome." His pelt is a pale gray, with darker gray stripes throughout his body, starting from his head to his tail tip. His soft fur is short, just like your average Short Hair, yet it has a certain gleam to it, which makes it unique.
Duskstar's chest, which is V shaped, is white, as are all four of his paws, and his tail tip. The tom's build is rather average, as he is neither extremely muscular, nor extremely slim and slender. He is, however, slightly taller than the average tom, as Duskstar is full grown, and has large genes.
His legs are average in length, but he has very small, light paws, making him exceptionally good at hunting and being stealthy. His tail is very long, a good two inches longer than average. Duskstar's muzzle is of average length, as is his ear size. His eyes are a mixture of amber and green.
History: Duskstar was born to his mother Foxfur, and his father Greyheart. The tom was born in a small litter of two, however, his sister Aspenkit was born still born, leaving him the only survivor of the litter. His parents were saddened by their loss, but with one strong, healthy kit to take care of, they soon got over it.
With his parent's full attention, Duskkit grew quickly, and even though he had no siblings, he didn't mind. The small kit had fun playing with other kits, becoming popular within the clan right away. He had always enjoyed listening to the elders stories, making him popular among both the elders, and kits his age.
As he finally grew old enough to become apprenticed, he became overjoyed. The newly named Duskpaw had always wanted to become a warrior, and worked exceptionally hard with his training. He took all of his mentors advice and listened intently, the lessons oddly becoming natural for him. Duskstar's parents were very proud of their sons progress as well.
After his training was complete he was made a warrior, which he was more than enthusiastic about. He had always wanted to become a warrior and defend his clan, and now his dream was going to come true! He was as happy as can be, that is, until his father died. He had been elderly, seven years old when Duskpelt had been born. It was only natural for him to die, but Duskpelt and his mother grieved over him.
Eventually, Duskpelt and his mother learned to live without him, however, and Duskpelt showed himself worthy, and became deputy after he mentored his first apprentice it was a huge achievement for Duskpelt, and he was very proud of himself. Without realizing it, he would soon become leader, as SkyClan's previous leader died not long after.
Duskstar is now leader of SkyClan, and has been for nearly twenty four moons.
